In this holiday cocktail, vodka and a spiced syrup are made for each other. Courtesy of The Merrion Hotel, this creamy, Christmas spiced-flavored vodka cocktail will be a star at holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
Christmas Spiced Syrup
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
- 10–15 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
White Christmas
- 1 ¾ oz Ketel One
- ¾ oz Lemon juice
- ¾ oz Christmas syrup (Cloves, cardamon, cinnamon) 2:1*
- 1 oz Cream
Instructions
Christmas Spiced Syrup
- Add water and sugar into a small saucepan over medium heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved
- Remove from heat and add the cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Let steep for several hours.
- Strain into a jar or bottle, tightly sealed and refrigerated.
White Christmas
- Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker without ice.
- Add ice and shake.
- Double strain into rocks glass
- Serve on the rocks over cubed ice; garnish with two Cranberries & Mint (to look like holly)
